Configuring YouTube streaming is a highly effective feature that enables real-time video broadcasting. It is particularly well-suited for applications such as sporting events, marinas, wildlife sanctuaries, zoos, construction sites, and similar settings requiring live video transmission.

Follow these steps to configure YouTube streaming on your X-Series device.

Configuring your X-Series device

1. To configure YouTube streaming on your X-Series device using the RTMP protocol, follow these steps:

2. Access RTMP Settings: Navigate to Setup > Remote Setting > Network > Platform Access > RTMP.
3. Enable RTMP: Activate the RTMP feature by selecting the enable option, then click "Save" to confirm.
4. Configure Streaming Details: Enter the server address for your streaming platform (e.g., YouTube’s RTMP URL). Choose the desired stream type (Mainstream is recommended for optimal quality). Select the specific channel from your X-Series device that you wish to stream.

To obtain the server address for configuring YouTube streaming on your X-Series device, follow these steps:

2. Initiate Live Streaming: Click the "Create" icon located in the top right corner of the YouTube homepage, then select "Go Live" from the dropdown menu.
