X-Series active deterrence setup

Follow these steps to configure active deterrence and siren settings on your X-Series device:

  1. Access the Main Menu:

    • Log in to your X-Series device and navigate to the Main Menu.

    • Under the "Alarm" section, select the "Deterrence" option.

  2. Configure Warning Light Settings:

    • In the Deterrence menu, use the dropdown to select the channel(s) for which you want to enable active deterrence.

    • Enable the "Warning Light" option for the selected channel.

    • Adjust the "Warning Light Duration" to specify how long the warning lights will remain active before deactivating.

  3. Set Warning Light Schedule:

    • Select the "Warning Light Schedule" option to access a page listing features that can trigger active deterrence.

    • Choose the desired feature and enable the "Motion Warning Light Switch" option.

    • Customize the schedule to define the days and hours when active deterrence will be operational. Use the provided timeline to set specific times or enable 24/7 operation.

    • Note: Ensure the selected trigger feature is properly configured and enabled, as active deterrence will not function if the feature is not set up correctly.

  4. Configure Audible Siren Settings:

    • In the same "Alarm" section of the Main Menu, select the "Siren" option.

    • Follow similar steps as for the deterrence setup, selecting the desired channel(s).

    • Configure the following siren settings:

      • Siren Type: Choose from pre-installed siren sounds or upload a custom audio file for a user-defined siren.

      • Siren Volume: Adjust the volume level to control the loudness of the siren output.

      • Siren Duration: Set the duration for which the siren will play when triggered.
