How do I upgrade my XVR/NVR's?

To upgrade the firmware on your device, follow these steps or you may reference the embedded video below.

1. Prepare the Firmware File: Ensure the firmware file is downloaded and unzipped if it is in a .zip format.
2. Format the USB Flash Drive: Use a blank USB flash drive and format it to FAT32.
3. Transfer the Firmware File: Copy the unzipped firmware file to the formatted USB flash drive.
4. Connect the USB Flash Drive: Insert the USB flash drive into the front USB port of your XVR/NVR.
5. Navigate to the Upgrade Menu: Access the upgrade section via the following path: Main Menu > Setup > System > Maintenance > Upgrade.
6. Select the Firmware File: In the upgrade menu, choose "Select File" and locate the firmware file on the USB flash drive.
7. Initiate the Upgrade: Click the "Upgrade" button to begin the process.
8. Monitor the Upgrade Process: A status bar will display the progress of the firmware upgrade. If the upgrade fails, verify that the correct firmware file is used and ensure it is not an older version than the one currently installed on the device.
