How to initially setup the X-Series XMV Mobile App

What is name of our X-Series mobile app?

The app is called XMV and can be found on both Apple App Store & Android Google Play Store.

 

Where can I download the App?

Scan the QR Codes Below or Seach XMV within your mobile device or tablets app store.

How do I add my device to the app?

Adding a device is a straightforward and efficient process that requires minimal time. To successfully add a device, please ensure you have the following items readily available:

  • A mobile phone or tablet with the XMV application downloaded and installed.
  • The X-Series device you wish to connect/add to the application. 

Once you have the required items readily available, you may proceed by following the steps outlined below or refer to the embedded walk-through video for guidance.

Adding a Device:

Position yourself in front of your X-Series device and navigate to the Information section. This can be accessed either through the main menu under the System section (via Setup) or by selecting the encircled "i" icon located in the bottom right corner of your XVR/NVR's interface.

Next, take your mobile phone and follow these steps:

1. Open the XVM mobile application.
2. Expand the app menu.
3. Select "Device List."
4. Tap the add icon located in the top right corner.
5. Choose "IPC/NVR/DVR."
6. Scan the QR code displayed on your NVR/XVR screen.
7. Enter the following details:
  - Device name (as you wish to label it in the app).
  - Username and password for your X-Series device.
  - Port number (if not set to the default value of 80).
