How do I reset my NVR to Factory Defaults?
All X-Series NVRs have a hard reset button on the back panel of the NVR. There is a pinhole generally located around or below the USB ports in the rear.
- While the unit is powered on, use a paper clip to depress the button in the recessed hole and hold for 10 seconds until the unit beeps, then you can release the button.
- The unit will reboot and will now be returned to its factory default settings with no password configured.
